A Christmas Carol Experience
This one-of-a-kind holiday experience allows museum guests to interact with the beloved characters of Dickens’ classic tale. As they traverse the floors of the museum, guests will greet Bob Cratchit, the Christmas ghosts and even stop to have a quick chat with Scrooge himself. Complete with carols, crafts and photo opportunities, this performance will delight the entire family.
General admission is $15, plus museum admission. Discounts available for groups of four or more. Select your general admission tickets and add on A Christmas Carol Experience in the Enhance your visit section.
Museum of the Bible and the National Museum of Catholic Art Present: Sculpting the Nativity with Master Sculptor Tim Schmalz
Renowned artist Tim Schmalz will carve a nativity sculpture live in the museum from December 6-8. As he is working, Schmalz will interact with guests, describing his process and how the biblical texts shape his work. The event will culminate with the unveiling of the piece in a special program on December 8 complete with glorious holiday music and refreshments.
Visit the museum between November 26 and January 5 to view another of Schmalz’s sculptures, titled “Maternal Bond.”
Christmastime Is Here with Canadian Brass
Everyone will enjoy this Christmas celebration with the world-famous Canadian Brass live in the Pure Flix World Stage Theater!
Enjoy the irresistible aroma of nutmeg, cinnamon and ginger as Chef Brandi Edinger helps you construct your own tasty little gingerbread house. We will provide the materials, including a candy buffet and lots of icing. Light snacks provided. Space is limited, so sign up early! $50, includes museum admission and all materials.
